Your First Week
What to expect after launch, honestly, and the five habits that turn a fresh workspace into a steady source of conversations.
The first week is a calibration week. Your agents are learning your market from what you told them, and you are teaching them what a good lead looks like every time you react to one. Here is what to expect, and where your ten minutes a day are best spent.
Day one: the first leads
Agents start hunting the moment you launch. How quickly leads arrive is a function of your market's chatter, not of LeadPinger trying harder: a topic people discuss daily produces leads within hours, a quiet niche may take a day or two. If an agent stays quiet, its card on the Agents page will tell you, and it comes with replacement keyword suggestions written the way a customer would actually talk.
Grade a few leads every day
Every lead has two buttons: Good fit, find more like this and Not a fit, show fewer like this. Use them. Grading is not bookkeeping, it is feedback that calibrates future scoring toward what you actually want. When you mark a lead as not a fit, LeadPinger asks why with one tap; those reasons shape what your agents bring you next. A handful of grades a day in week one noticeably sharpens week two.

Tune keywords with evidence, not hunches
Expand any agent's card on the Agents page to see its keyword performance over the last 30 days: which phrases produce leads, which produce nothing. Keywords that find nothing are candidates to replace, and LeadPinger prepares replacements with the reason for each suggestion. Two or three keyword edits in the first week is normal and healthy. The doctrine is in Writing Keywords That Work.
Create a campaign before you send much
Your outreach voice lives in a campaign: who's speaking, your tone, and a few real messages you have written. Create one from Campaigns, link your agent to it, and use Hear it first to read a real draft before anything goes out. Drafts go from generic to yours. Do this before volume, not after: the outreach your leads see in week one sets the tone for every conversation that follows. See Voice & Drafted Replies.
Connect what you left for later
- Accounts not connected yet? Connect your LinkedIn, Reddit and X in Settings, under Channels, so your agents can reach out as you; with Sales Navigator, your LinkedIn also finds the people who match your ideal customer.
- Turn on the notifications you want in Settings, under Notifications: hot leads, replies, and the weekly digest.
- On a trial? Every lead is unlocked in full, and every lead the trial finds stays visible after it ends.
What a healthy week one looks like
- Agents scanned thousands of posts; you saw a much smaller number of matches and leads. That narrowing is the product working, not failing.
- You graded 10 to 20 leads and replaced 2 or 3 quiet keywords.
- You sent your first comments and DMs while the posts were still fresh, which is when reply rates are highest.
- A few real conversations started in Engage.
