Payment Issues
A failed payment never pulls the rug: what happens during the grace period, what you'll see, and how to fix it in two minutes.
Cards expire, banks decline, budgets hiccup. LeadPinger's posture on a failed renewal is a grace period, not a cliff: your workspace keeps full access while we retry and you fix the card. Agents keep hunting, outreach keeps sending, nothing locks.
What you'll see
- A banner across the app: Payment failed. Update your card to keep your subscription active.
- A Past due badge and callout on the billing page, with the one button that matters: Update payment method.
- An email, if your Billing notification is on (it is by default).
Fixing it
- 1The owner clicks Update payment method (app banner or Settings, Billing).
- 2The secure Stripe billing portal opens; update the card there. LeadPinger never sees or stores card numbers.
- 3The retry clears, the banner disappears, and the invoice shows as paid in your billing history. Done.
If it stays unpaid
When the grace period ends without a successful charge, the subscription lapses: agents pause, and paid features close until a payment goes through. Your data is untouched throughout: leads, conversations and settings all wait for you, and one successful payment puts everything back exactly as it was.
